Former President Donald Trump raged against the Lincoln Project in a rant posted to his Truth Social platform on Friday, demanding that its leaders face criminal charges.

"The Perverts and Misfits of the Lincoln Project have (barely!) gotten together again after their disgusting scandal, and pieced together some ads," wrote Trump. "They are running on fumes. Were they ever prosecuted for their crimes? Are their donors under investigation? Check it out!"

The Lincoln Project is a political group founded by disaffected former Republican strategists, dedicated to defeating Trump specifically and far-right Republicans generally.....

One ad mocks Trump for his Mar-a-Lago Espionage Act indictment, stating, "The rats are everywhere, Donald. And you have no one to blame but yourself. Think hard and long about who you can trust - chances are they've already turned on you." Another lauded a number of reporters for their critical coverage of Trump's arraignment. And yet another touted an interview between Gov. Gavin Newsom (D-CA) and Fox News' Sean Hannity, in which Newsom praised President Joe Biden's record.

Trump's rant proves the effectiveness of the ad meant to rattle him and aired specifically in locations--Bedminster, DC and Palm Beach--where he was likely to see and hear it.

If Biden were to recommend 'investigating' everyone who contributes to Trump I think most (I certainly know I would) of DUers would call for his resignation or impeachment.
