Human programmer vs. Bard AI

My husband had a long career in software development. Recently, on a whim and using plain English specifications, he asked Bard to write code to perform the core functions of a software app that he wrote 15 years ago in about six months. It took Bard two seconds and the code was perfect. Bard also did not require a gallon of coffee and two packs of cigarettes a day.

detailing the project planning, software testing, or progress towards meeting milestones. That was what I found to be one of the largest black holes for wasting time in the project management cycle.

And I wonder if Bard would have done better with corporate politics than my husband...
