(19,382 posts)Perhaps the Democratic Party needs to do a national campaign getting every democratic supporter to purchase some beer. They need it desperately.

(69,364 posts)I read that Bud Light drinkers were simply switching to other A-B products. I also read that Mexican imports are making a big dent in U.S. beer company profits.

(5,339 posts)They don't want these asshole associated with their brand. It's why they did what they did. They knew what would happen.
And I'm sure their profits will be fine.

(40,969 posts)I saw a special on the Q-anon movement during the 2016 campaign season on CNN where they focused on a young single man & also a young woman with two little kids. They both believed all the Q madness, the deep state, the democratically run pedophilia ring. When he asked the woman, "You don't really believe that Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton are part of a worldwide web of pedophiles do you?" She answered, "I really don't want to, but yes, I do." I thought it was telling how she answered in that way. Of course she wants to believe it. How else would you believe this kind of total pile of bullshit?

(6,017 posts)A-B is donates primarily to Republicans and has for a long time. But like many such corporations, they don't want to miss out on potential sales even as they help the GOP attempt to rid society of certain smaller alternative target markets. So they donate to the GOP long term and run ultra-cheap "supportive" advertising campaigns within some of the distinct communities that Republicans have been trained to hate.
They were bound to be shunned by both sides at some point playing a game like that.
