A-B is donates primarily to Republicans and has for a long time. But like many such corporations, they don't want to miss out on potential sales even as they help the GOP attempt to rid society of certain smaller alternative target markets. So they donate to the GOP long term and run ultra-cheap "supportive" advertising campaigns within some of the distinct communities that Republicans have been trained to hate.

They were bound to be shunned by both sides at some point playing a game like that.
