Are the only folks here who observe the cross-quarter days - probably for different reasons. Here they are tied to the aboriginal seasonal calendar and gardening dates.

but I acknowledge all the high holy days of the wheel.

May the seeds you planted bear fruit and flowers.

8. And you as well. We have a very short growing season here-we don't even plant

seedlings til Memorial weekend! And snow can end the season right after Labour day,. Our weather is, to say the least, mercurial.But the energy changes that one feels!!

5. May Day, cross quarter day coming right up and Beltaine

And best of all, we've a brand new granddaughter to help start the season.

A bonfire out back may be in our future.
