where they're pretending to hit him over the head with folding chairs in public and in private they're all friendly and cordial. It's a game to them, using theatrics to get the MAGAts enraged and excited.

I have used the exact term pro wrestling to describe politicians on this site since shortly after I started posting. I worked with politicians from both parties as a bodyguard and know how they act when no cameras are around and no constituents. It definitely changes your perspective. And yes, I've seen some in compromising positions.
