Would someone please explain to me how the racist GOP legislature thought they could get away with this? Did they think no one was watching? It was on national television 24 -7. Did they think they could hide under their ‘sheets’ and no one would see what they did? Jones has been reinstated with a stern WARNING ⚠️ follow the rules. Rules that they make up as they go.

Fact is they made hero’s out of these two young men. They made them stronger. They made their light shine brighter.

if they wanted to make a point about rules. So obviously there was another reason. To me this was like a political tar and feathering.

8. just a theory:

they live in a confederate, racist bubble. they thought it would be a big win for them. they assumed that all the other white people are as racist as they are.

once walking around the lake i ended up in a conversation with a white man who was also walking around the lake. somehow we ended up talking about crimes that had occurred near the lake (which I lived on but had not been in NC long), and he tells about one guy, and then another guy, and then the "Black" guy.

my exit came up right then. I said good-bye. That was well over 10 years ago and I don't believe that today, I would let him go before asking what color the other guys were or hitting him up about why he felt it was important to bring up race at just that time. I walked away muttering about what a racist he was. But he probably kept on walking fully confident that I was right there with him. I regret that.

but that's my theory. they truly believe they are in the majority. certainly where they rule, they are. But they actually are not, and boy did that come back to bite them in the ass!
