3. Michael Steele is usually on point about the modern GOP, but I have to disagree this time

Sometimes an indictment is just an indictment. This is the last place Trump wants to be right now, even if he's convinced himself otherwise. Tomorrow he's on his way to a courthouse to be arraigned on multiple criminal charges.

I think he was already facing an uphill climb to regain the presidency, I don't see how this is going to help him other than with people who are already part of the cult.

He gets a new resume item to add to the two impeachments and the attempted coup on J6...he's officially indicted, booked and fingerprinted, a first for any pres. or ex-pres. in the history of the nation.

But most people having watched Trump skate repeatedly are reveling in this. I understand, though, why Steele would want to cast a somber tone over it. He wants us to turn away, and avert our eyes from the spectacle that is essentially his party.
