Thank you to them.
Here's an article quoting from Dissent Magazine's (founded by democratic socialists and sympathetic to that, as well as other far-left illiberal ideologies) explanation of what's been happening in NV:
Socialists Took Over This States Democratic Party. Now Theyre Bailing.

They'd be much happier as activists, have no responsibility for establishment improvements for constituents' lives that don't pass the populist purity tests.

(58,785 posts)because its results must be acceptable to many involves extremely different temperaments from those committed to making representative government work.
None of those statements suggest they're willing, or able, to understand the real reasons they failed, much less predict for themselves that they would even though this time they'd managed to take over the bosses' offices.
On to 2024.

Monroe-Moreno is the first Black woman to serve as chair of the state party. A retired corrections officer, Monroe-Moreno was first elected to the Nevada Assembly in 2016 and represents North Las Vegas.
Monroe-Moreno announced her bid for chair in early February alongside other Democratic candidates, who ran together in a slate dubbed the Democratic Unity Slate.
Unity is what Nevada needs.
Brava! Great win!

(29,077 posts)Leadership and legislation requires compromise, incrementalism, co-operation, all the bad bad bad "establishment" things. Like being parents or pet owners or having a job or deciding what kind of music to play on a road trip.
Americans are not secret socialists waiting for a class revolution. Can everyone finally agree on this now? IT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
