No good deed goes unpunished

Last edited Fri Jan 13, 2023, 07:21 PM - Edit history (1)

So over 2 months ago the Biden team discovers some classified documents and immediately does the right thing and gives them to the national archives.

After the National Archives notifies the Justice Department Garland immediately orders a Trump appointee to investigate the matter. A member of the investigative team then informs the media about the matter the week Republicans take back control of the House.

Biden's lawyers conduct a thorough search to make sure there aren't any additional classified documents in storage. They find some, immediately return the documents and notify the Justice Department. In response Garland appoints a Special Counsel. A former judge picked by Trump.

This all started with Biden and his staffers doing the right thing. The National Archives didn't even know classified documents were missing. Now it's turned into a criminal investigation that will probably lead to his impeachment and cast a shadow over the remainder of Biden's presidency and
re-election campaign.

No good deed goes unpunished. The Biden legal team has bent over backwards to cooperate with Garland and his Trumpist investigators. And it's blown up in their faces.

And the worst part about this is Trump isn't going to be indicted for anything federally. Jack Smith might as well shut down his office. Unless the DA in Fulton County or NYC announce charges Teflon Don will escape accountability once again.

All we can do at this point is block out the media noise and Republicans faux outrage.
Biden and his legal counsel will continue to do the right thing by cooperating fully. And like with Hillary's emails he will get crucified for his mistake by the "liberal" media.

This is why people hate politics and don't watch the news.

We are about to see new pretzel formations from the pro Twister players in the Garland fan club and a full on shit show from MSM and the Republicans.

It's a shame too because Biden's approval ratings are high, gas prices are low and the Republicans are repeatedly embarrassing themselves in the House. And Dems had a great midterm election.

Although as a Democrat I always get nervous when things are going well.

counsel to the trump stolen docs case, and a trump appointee at that, but a leak and a few days to appoint a special counsel to the Biden docs case...and another trump appointee.

Guess Garland doesn't know of any Obama appointed attorneys or judges.

That's really where the mistake started. If Pres Biden had appointed a woman as AG, trump would already be indicted right now. Guaranteed.

there is the potential for a crime. However, intent is also a factor and until we know how the documents got where they were, how they were used, who saw them, and whether their retention was intentional we can’t say for sure a crime was committed.

This is not the case with Trump’s documents by the way. He took them intentionally, refused to return them, certified he had returned them all and ultimately it took a search warrant to find the docs he retained. Trump is at least looking at obstruction of justice and should be looking at a lot more.

Also, and I have mentioned this before, any escape of classified material from a secure location will trigger a counter-intelligence investigation to determine if anything has been compromised.
