If I were Kev, come Monday for the Rules voting . . . . . .

. . . . I'd enlist a few friendly moderates to help him out.

He knows the Democrats will not vote for that "Rules" package. He hates it, too. Get four, five, ten buddies to vote NAY with the Dems. Let that hold together for a new rules package and let the Insurrectionist Caucus scream. There' nothing they can do if Kev can keep his buddies and the Democrats working together. Keep it up for two years.

Then he can retire.

Iyt seems to me this is more possible than anything similar was for the Speaker vote.

It would be against his principles to do something to get Dems on his side.
