It was promised yesterday, Dec 3rd. Didnt happen.
It was then promised today, Dec 4th at noon eastern time. Still nothing.
Journalist Matt Taibbi (aka #MattyDickPics) last post was a re-tweet of an article by MAGA lawyer, Jonathan Turley.
Any ideas? Has Elon/Taibbi figured out that a hardcore investigation by a real journalist of their very questionable Twitter Files might have repercussions for them?
Maybe Twitters former owners arent happy being doxed and slandered? Are they receiving death threats?
I wonder if there is some trouble in Taibbi/Musk/Trump paradise.
They forgot to mention what Bidens team requested the tweets that were nudes of Hunter be taken down. They forgot to mention that those tweets violated Twitters TOS. Which is probably why they were taken down. But they wanted their readers to assume this was a nefarious first amendment violation.
Taibbi wrote Trump asked to have tweets down and his requests were granted by twitter as well. But Taibbi wont say what tweets Trump asked to take down.
It is so one sided and biased.
Maybe they are having second thoughts. The MAGAs want to shoot reporters and execute Biden. At this point it could be considered by some as incitement to violence.
What are your thoughts?

(10,988 posts)- Elon answered questions live
Almost 4 hrs of questions for Elon from reporters and other personalities. Over a million people tuned in. Its now available over on YouTube.
Elon is not going thru all the emails and info - Matt Taibbi has access to all Twitters Internal emails and communications. Matt has another reporter who was just hired to help but I forgot his name Elon is working on software. More is coming according to Matt and eventually all past Twitter communications will be open to everyone- Elon said he wants everything abut past Twitter to be scrutinized so they can start a new.
Matt Tweeted: It's been a whirlwind 96 hours for me, too. There is much more to come, including answers to questions about issues like shadow-banning, boosting, follower counts, the fate of various individual accounts, and more. These issues are not limited to the political right.

(37,182 posts)Nobody is ever going to care about this. This story makes very small men think that they're doing something huge like Watergate, but it's not.

(46,155 posts)Maga will fall for anything. As I mentioned earlier though, some of those Magas are talking bullets rather than ballots; it is pretty disturbing.

(9,100 posts)it's not a straightforward process, I usually have better things to do, and I mostly have little confidence anything will happen if I do. This was so even when Twitter was under Jack Dorsey.
Over the summer, I did report a couple of posts that purported to show Hunter Biden with some kids, just posted on some random hashtag. It should have been a no-brainer to remove the tweet and ban the poster no matter who was actually pictured.
I imagine I was far from the only person to report those sorts of tweets as they were blatant violations of the TOS and not the sort of thing you want to see (or indeed let minors have a chance see) when causally scrolling. I don't know whether Musk and Taibbi's "evidence" stretches to encompass that.
I suspect there won't be a part 2, or if there is, it won't add much. The whole issue seems only to be getting traction among right-wingers and loons who were already rabid about the laptop, and if there's more that could come out, it may implicate the Trump administration more than the DNC.
