You folks know that Jack Smith is not starting on this job immediately?

He's laid up with some kind of medical issue at his assignment over in Netherlands IIRC. Saw the story on it today when I was on the fly....can't find it now.

Regardless of where he physically is or his physical condition is, any lawyer worth their salt can quickly catch up with things.

In other words, so what?

Face it, your claim that there would be no delay was inaccurate.

he needs to heal first. Then of course there will be a couple of months or so while he gets staffed up. Then a few more months while they get the records of the investigation so far. Then a few more months while they familiarize themselves with where things stand. Then of course there will be several more months of court filings by all manner of persons and organizations challenging even having a Special Counsel and any requests/subpoenas. Then several more months of appeals of each filing. Then several months more for Supreme Court reviews. After that then I'm sure the Special Counsel process will continue the gruelingly complicated process of trying to understand every nuance of whether the Orange Ruski took classified documents he wasn't entitled to and then lied about whether they were all given back. I mean after all he gets the benefit of the doubt and kid glove treatment because after all it's not like he has a long history of lying and swindling people.
