This Spring I was eating lunch with some work friends, a few are known Cons. Overheard two of them next to me discussing Whitmer and how she’ll “be out this Fall.” “Yeah, we get her out this next election.” All matter of fact like, like it was a forgone convulsion according to their media. They were pissed about the Covid restrictions.

Never occurred to them to check her approval ratings overall or for Covid. She was always going to be tough to beat.
