(90,039 posts)We usually put our Call to Action email together on Saturdays, its edited by Sunday, corrections made per the editor and then handing off to the publisher on Sunday, usually by mid-afternoon.
Im the - well - head writer, for lack of anything better. So Im chief shepherd all weekend as the project moves through writing to distribution.
One thing Im constantly looking for is a good quote. Happy to say its a real embarrassment of riches. Sometimes I want to use more than one quote but weve gotta keep it to one.
I see a LOT of choice quotes week-by-week right here on DU. And I use em! Like this Sonia Sotomayor quote I saw earlier today. A definite keeper!

I never give up on the big stuff because I just tell myself I have to do my part. It's always something achievable.
I do give up on some things, though, but they are usually inconsequential matters where I can see the time doesn't justify the end.
