"SNIP......

“Liz Cheney and I are not courageous. There’s no strength in this. We’re just surrounded by cowards.”

— Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), on Morning Joe, on why Republicans are having such a hard time condemning the violent assault on Paul Pelosi.

.......SNIP"

tRump MAGAt nutbags are simply in the way of her and her family's ambitions and plans for power. That's really all there is to it.

I'm glad for her help, but that is the only way she is on the "right" side of this. Her personal interest, and that of family cronies.

The Cheneys, Romneys, Bushes, etc wanted a brokered convention to choose another candidate. But without the maga 80% of their base they knew that they would not be able to win, and might damage their party. So the Republican party put party before country and chose Trump. The corporate Republicans wanted to keep squeezing the goose that laid the golden eggs, the maga Republicans want to roast the goose.

11. They Are Courageous
Tue Nov 1, 2022, 09:33 PM
Nov 2022

What Mike Pence did on January 6, 2021, was not courageous. What Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are doing is courageous. Mike Pence only did what was right and necessary when he realized he could not do anything else. If Mike Pence could have found a way to do the wrong thing, he would have done the wrong thing. Doing the right thing because you have been forced to do the right thing is not courageous. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger are doing the right thing, even though it is costing them, because it is the right thing to do. Just because one is surrounded by cowards does not mean one is not courageous for taking courageous actions.

I mean, Adam's district was redistricted out from under him, and Liz lost her primary, so one might think they have nothing to lose. But they do. "RINO"s are just as likely to get death threats, to them and to their families, as Democrats are, and sometimes those threats are acted on, and they must know it - neither of them is an idiot.

I can understand their thinking of it as duty rather than courage. But sometimes courage is needed to do one's dity.

policies, but I greatly admire her for her courage in the face of Satanic forces. Ok, that's kind of extreme, but I was just watching a series about Lucifer, and I got carried away. Maybe.

In disguise of course.

He could easily go as Satan to any Halloween party. Just has to leave his human mask at home.
