May you know, however, evety moment of the suffering, the pain, the heartbreak, the heartache, the terror, of every woman your hate-filled decision has caused, and will continue to cause. May you hear the cries, the whimpers, the gasps every single minute of your day, waking and sleeping. May your dreams be filled with the visions of the rivers of blood on your hands. May the spirits of those who die because of you never leave you alone. And may this also be so for all who enable you, support you, agree with you.

(44,738 posts)Then Sammy the rat Alito. He is more proof the Catholic Church is a crime family. It spent more then 4 million church dollars in an attempt to codify a religious belief in Kansas and still maintains a tax exempt status. How would an ALITO LED SC rule in such a challenge to said exemption? Domini patre four times four.

(13,479 posts)May they all rot in hell for the destruction they are bringing to this country. Our Founders deliberately did not choose a theocracy. How dare they try to institute one!

(23,342 posts)As someone who was twice cursed in my teens (once, by my father's boss - to get back at my dad; and once, by a malicious classmate) - plus a family curse - I gladly and hereby transfer them all to him.
However you want to handle that, Niyad my friend.

Pro tip: insulting a long time member is not usually the best way to introduce yourself to a group. Or so I've been told.

(89 posts)but it sounds like basically some neo-pagan form of "thoughts and prayers". Am I allowed to be critical or impatient towards something like that?

(22,582 posts)certain forms of Christianity (which I agree cause a lot of problems). Most of us take a "live and let live" approach. Personally, I respect all forms of religion until they try to mess with my life or the lives of those I care about....or with society as a whole by promoting laws that support various forms of bigotry and/or take rights away from people.
I see no reason to criticize paganism, because pagans don't run around trying to take away people's rights or insisting that everyone believe as they do. The day a pagan tells me I'm going to hell, I'll be the first to criticize, but that'll never happen, because that's not how they roll.
That post was expressing something a lot of us have been feeling, albeit it in a manner that might be unfamiliar to some. Criticizing it was jarring to me and (I'm sure) many others.
