Adult men will continue to rape and some girl children will get pregnant. Some boy children will need reparative surgery for their rapes. Yes I know that some adult women will also rape children.

This horror is not going away with the end of safe legal abortion.

3. And females often don't get pregnant the first time they have sex.

A lot of these girls were probably raped repeatedly. And then they have trouble with the authorities when they want to terminate the pregnancy, adding insult to injury. But all of that aside, a girl/woman should.be able to decide for herself whether or not she wants to have a baby, regardless of circumstances.

As for knowing when she’s pregnant, I know a woman (now 60) who was barely 14 when her abuse resulted in pregnancy. She didn’t even know she was pregnant until 7 months along, and that only was because her mother finally noticed something was different and took her to a doctor.

A little girl who was 9 when she was raped and 10 when she had a termination is scarcely able to make an informed decision about a matter that could rip her apart and/or kill her. She is still playing with dollies at this age. A baby of her very own sounds like a dolly.

11. Yes, girls and women often don't know they're pregnant

until they're pretty far along. But I was talking about people who know they're pregnant and have the option to terminate. At some point a decision is made whether or not to carry the fetus to term, whether it's parents deciding or a grown woman. That's what I meant when I say "decide." Of course the raped child has no choice in the matter.

I saw a picture of a very pregnant young girl yesterday and it was very disturbing.

She barely came up to her mother’s shoulder. 1969? I felt sick to my stomach.

It was a formative experience for me, one might say. I suddenly got the point of legalized abortion.

12. How interesting. What you saw got you to realize how important

legalized abortion is. And when I saw the photo I was visibly shaken also.

The only problem as I see it is the children's identity. And we wouldn't want to cause them any undue suffering. But I'm certain it would work now for many pro-lifers who just have not given the subject much thought

But they are not likely to get it.
