The “Madonna” from the Kiev metro has become an icon in the Italian temple

A woman with a child became a symbol of the resilience of Ukrainian mothers during the Russian war in Ukraine.
A woman from Kyiv, Tatyana Bliznyak, who was feeding her baby on the subway – a three -month -old daughter Marichka, due to the RF Armed Forces bombing, captured by Hungarian journalist Andras Fjoldes, was became the prototype of the icon. which appeared in the temple of Naples. This was announced by Pastor Pavel Levushkan.
His work spread all over the world. Now Kyiv Madonna on the subway became an icon in a Catholic church in Naples. Sacred services take place next to it.
