1 Do not launch a land invasion of china
2. Do not march on moscow (especially in winter most people add). Ask Napoleon or hitler about marching on moscow during cold weather.
The corollary to the above is, do not march 'from' moscow in cold weather, such as now. I felt monty's sage advice was why
Putin waited so long to invade, tho it is still winter for a few more weeks.
In cold, metal can turn brittle of course, tanks more difficult to operate, guns, artilliery, planes too.
