Were The GA Verdicts Essentially 1st Degree, 2nd Degree & 3rd Degree?

There were multiple Murder charges, and only Travis got Malice Murder. Is that the equivalent of 1st Degree, or is it something else?

For example, assault with a rifle or assault with a vehicle. If someone did both, and both are felonies, then since a death resulted, there is a guilty verdict.

That's one of a forum's functions - to inform.

Your churlish response adds nothing but ill will.

I take it that you don't know the answer, either.

Travis is Murder 1 and the rest were nailed on the felony-murder rule which is a death resulted during the commission of a felony. That is how I see it under Calif law.

In Georgia an Aggravated Assault that results in death is a Felony Murder. There were two of those.

Same for Imprisonment and for Conspiracy for Imprisonment resulting in death: Felony Murder.

I am not a lawyer.

Each felony was a felony-murder charge. If guilty of the felony and since a death resulted, then guilty of felony murder based on that particular felony charge.
