I have been surfing all the usual spots to see if anything has been announced.
I am wondering if the heightened security might have just been for “NYC” in general due to the bombings in Kabul.
I was hoping for some schadenfreude today…
I know that’s terrible of me, but I’m human….
But, it could also have been a way to test for leaks.
Maybe SDNY has been concerned about leaks, so they float a harmless ‘test’ rumor, and see where it goes.
In any case, I am ending my ‘monitor mode’ and going back down to def-con 2. LOL !!!
My next big media ‘must see’ is next Thursday Sept 2nd at 9AM EST. Fujifilm is announcing several camera/lens/etc developments. Can’t wait to get the final info for the rumored GFX 50S Mk II. It’s their wonderful 50MP Medium Format camera. I swear I probably won’t sleep well Wednesday night. This is where a good chunk of change is going to go, if the specs meet my expectations! A sort of belated retirement gift to myself. Considering I retired in March 2019, I would say I am long overdue!!!!
