'He's going berserk': Insider claims 'angry' Trump can't handle not being president

Former Trump Organization Executive Vice President Barbara Res was interviewed by MSNBC's Alex Witt.................
....................
"It's interesting, Donald Trump certainly responded to the grand jury news and there's a statement calling it 'the greatest witch hunt in American history,'" Witt noted. "I mean, we've heard that refrain over and over again from him, but Politico asks, how can it be a political witch hunt if he's not in the game anymore? Goes on to say, simple: float another run for president. But Trump's aides tell Politico that his interest in running in 2024, it's not just a defense tactic. One has said he's missing being president terribly. I'm curious, given your 18 years of working with him, what do you make of all this? How do you think he's reacting to all this in private?"
"Well, first of all, I think he's going berserk," Res replied.
"I think he's so angry. All the things that he put in place, the things he put in place to get elected the first time and almost get elected the second time, both were unreasonably based, and all the other things, the attorney general and the kinds of -- the judges and all the things that he thought he had working for him all of a sudden are not there anymore. it's -- he can't avoid this," she explained. "This happened and this is something he thought he could avoid."
"And I'm sure he's looking for people to blame. He's screaming at people, everybody, he's probably blaming [Allen] Weisselberg, he's blaming his sons, his daughter, you know, anyone that's available to him," Res said. "And he will, I think, throw any one of them under the bus to protect himself."

It will be fascinating to see how the republi-CON body responds when the head is finally cut off.

The lawsuits, the goings on in NY are getting to him. Good.
Eat at his rotten core of a heart. Age him quickly. Make his guts go crazy. All the evil this man has done, may it all come to the surface that he face justice not only for what he did to others these past 40 plus years, but for what he did to this country. May those who still pledge fealty to him suffer the indignities of their decisions.

(816 posts)He did not almost get elected the second time. He lost by a pretty good margin. I am so sick of his 75 million votes .Biden got over 80 million. Not even close.
SoCalDavidS
(10,599 posts)It doesn't matter if he won by 20 Million Nationally.
All that matters is the Electoral College.
If a total of 40,000 Votes, across THREE STATES, had switched, he would have won.
FORTY THOUSAND, Out Of 150 Million.

(7,765 posts)Joe won: 306 - 232 period. By the former guys standards this was a landslide I won'd deal with Ifs ands or buts. The next worry should be Nov 2022.

(25,048 posts)Just as in 2016, a few thousand votes in a few key states would have changed the EC count and Trump could have won.
Unfortunately, we don't elect our presidents with a popular vote.
The EC vote could have been very different.

(76,698 posts)We like to talk about that 40,000 in 4 states.
But, it's not a random sample of 40,000 out of a 150+ million voters.
It's those exact 40,000 people in 4 different states.
Mathematically, the chance of T***p winning is very tiny.
Too close for comfort? I suppose for some, yes.
But, despite that number, we didn't really come that close to a second term of idiocy.

(14,118 posts)that he won the ratfucking in 2016. It is very telling about a person's mental condition that now
he's angry and misses being "President", which is something he never was and never can be.

A LOT more.
The more about how deranged he is, angry, frustrated, going nuts
thats when mistakes are made. And the more vulnerable and unstable he makes himself, the better. Not for him. For all the rest of us.

(87 posts)Trump thrives on attention.
Being the President fed his need well.
Now that he is not President, it must kill him to not be front and center in every news cycle.

(27,835 posts)We've all seen/heard this man on a daily basis for four-plus years, so it isn't a stretch to surmise exactly how he is behaving right now.
He went from holding the most powerful position on the planet to being an increasingly irrelevant nobody. He once had control over everything that was happening around him - now he has no control over anything.
His life's blood for the past four years has been attention - being in the news 24/7, adoring fans attending his rallies, King of the Twitterverse - and now it's all gone.
Even his much-touted blog is a flop, confirming the fact that even his most ardent devotees are not all that interested in what he has to say.
And he knows what's in the documents now in the possession of SDNY, and he must be scared shitless about what is now known - and can be proven - in court.
Anyone who doesn't think that the Orange Man isn't freaking out right now was obviously not paying attention for the entirety of his tenure in office.

(10,943 posts)"... get elected the first time and almost get elected the second time..." shows the "insider" may have some mental problems, also. Hillary almost got elected the first time. She won the vote, but lost the Electoral College. The 2020 contest was clearly Biden all the way... Crooked Donald did not "almost" win anything.
SoCalDavidS
(10,599 posts)What don't you understand about that?
And he did get around 75 MILLION votes. Do you not accept that reality?
I do. I don't like it, but I accept it. So much so that I absolutely Hate America.
So yeah, the term "ALMOST" is applicable in my opinion.

I HOPE he throws his brats "under the bus."
Trump is too old, too out of shape, and too out of touch with reality to run again. I don't care if he fund raises, and get the rednecks riled up all day- it isn't going to happen. The ones we need to worry about are Ivanka, and that weirdo she married. If Il Douche can get rid of them for us- then good.
ProfessorGAC
(76,698 posts)He may be angry that he lost his shield from investigation, indictment or conviction.
Sure, he's a narcissistic egomaniac and dug the attention, but the degree of revilement was greater than the fawning. So, it's no quite the ego feed it otherwise would be.
He hates not being president because he has no power to keep people from looking at the legality of his actions.
And, he's kicked off Twitter. He's probably more upset about that than anything else.
