Richard Ruelas

February 8, 2021
The Phoenix man who took part in the Jan. 6 raid on the U.S. Capitol wearing a fur hat with horns, apologized on Monday for entering the building and expressed disappointment in former President Donald Trump, at whose behest he had traveled to D.C.
snip
Angeli was seen wandering through the Rotunda and strutting through the U.S. Senate chamber, taking his place behind the dais. It was where, moments before, former Vice President Mike Pence had stood presiding over a joint session of Congress that was counting states electoral votes, the final step that certified the election of President Joe Biden and Trumps defeat.
I am sorry for having aroused fear in the hearts of others. That was wrong. Period.
Angeli also asked for patience for himself and others who are having a very difficult time piecing together all that happened to us, around us, and by us. We are good people who care deeply about our country.

Horseshit. He's only sorry he was caught. And drop the stupid "Shaman" act. It's a goddamned insult.

You shoulda though of that, dude, before you joined the mob.
Id guess nobody held a gun to your head and made you do it. YOU did this. Willingly and eagerly, from everything I can see/hear/observe/remember.

(2,173 posts)I agree with you 100%. Nothing sincere, and nothing indicating accepting not only responsibility, but asking for help to correct his psychological/mental frailties.

(3,748 posts)Hes rationalizing what he did. They all do this and it is infuriating as hell. This is why he needs to do time. Its amazing how people see the light when they are in the slammer. Gives them time to really think without all the privilege to distract them I guess.

(2,173 posts)I was married to a malignant narcissist. For all intents and purposes, she was Donald Trump except in shape and attractive...lol. This is the game they play. Apologies are self-serving and never sincere, critical thinking is for "dummies" looking for an intelligent appearing excuse, and 100% above all else, they are ALWAYS the victim. This shaman guy is setting himself up as the victim here. That is clear as a bell.
As far as getting mad as hell, that's on us. I learned I needed to control my emotions and the only way for me was to ask her to leave and then I filed for divorce. Otherwise, I would have ended up with battle fatigue.
Vivienne235729

(2,173 posts)Ending relationships is never an easy decision if there's a deep emotional tie. Oh it's easy for us to tell someone they should breakup with their s/o, but it's an emotional sledgehammer no matter what. The trick for me to handle it was quite different than most. I actually focused on her good traits as opposed to her bad. In time I came to realize that her good traits really weren't all that exceptional in the bigger picture.
Now let me focus on Trump's good traits......ok I'm done focusing.
Vivienne235729
(3,748 posts)Focus on Trumps good traits.... I bet that was the longest 2 seconds of your life. Lol I honestly tried to find one redeeming quality about that orange pos and could not find one. Not ONE.

The only thing I agree with anything he is saying is that Trump incited him to do this, thinking he could get away without repercussions.
And by the way, Mr. Shaman, who paid you to travel from Arizona to Dalton, Georgia (at a Trump rally) to DC (for the next Trump rally and insurrection) in the span of a few days? That's a pretty ambitious road trip in early January 2021.

They need to show more of the assault on the cop in the door which looked like they were trying to torture him to death.
And of course the scum breaking in and wearing things like how not enough jews were killed in the holocaust.
I feel that guy's appearance kind of distracts from the details of what actually happened.

(9,714 posts)That's why we're going to incarcerate you for awhile. Because tough love is the only way to get our message through.
Maybe it'll give you some time to think things through, to see how easily you were brainwashed, how one man's protest is another man's insurrection, when the latter man uses the Constitution as his compass. Lots of time, lots to learn.
Some people are slow learners, Jake. You seem to be on your way to learning the truth about your little Trumpian savior. He's a fraud, a charlatan, a lying sack of shit. And you're a prime victim of the Great Lie, one of many who will now pay the price.

(870 posts)REALLY thought they were protecting the country from us, the dreaded children-eating demons. They're f*cking delusional and should be on medication and undergo a serious exorcism (cult defrag).
So that does have to be a shock to their system when the delusion falls away, the mirror unfogs and they can see clearly how they bought in to the bullshit.
And I'm sure it is a shock when they realize that they committed serious felonies and will have to spend time in the clink. Too damn bad. I feel not one bit sorry for them.
If I fell in with a cult and sacrificed a human life in service to my guru, I still committed murder. I'd feel horrible when my eyes opened and I realize what I'd done, but the crime still happened. Perhaps I'd go with the insanity defense?

And the Shaman BS is deeply insulting. I have a sister who has been studying with a Native American Shaman for many years. It's a deeply spiritual & private pursuit, & the way he parades around looking like an idiot makes a mockery of it.

I plan on talking with the FEDs to help anyway I can.
I think every American should watch the videos step by step frame by frame. You will experience shear hate and anger. I really feel for the unprepared (by design) Officers. What they experienced must have been extremely frightening. The MOB were scary AF!
And catbyte you are correct he should drop the FAKE shaman act. He has NO idea what a Shaman is, because it is definitely NOT him.
