I believe he faked it to get sympathy after his poor performance at the first debate. He and I are the same age and I know I could not be running around like he has been since his stay at Walter Reed. My doctor told me that the drugs his doctors said he has taken are given only when you are in bed and as a last resort.

I don’t believe he faked it because he would never admit willingly to being so weak as to have to go to the hospital. Plus, of all the employees at Walter Reed, it would have gotten out if he was faking it. The reason he seemingly recovered so quickly is that he got treatment that you or I would never get.

I also believe he has been drugged up to his gills since leaving the hospital, in order to cover it up, and to suppress the worst of the symptoms. I considered that he may have had some other health issue, rather than COVID-19, but he's still hacking and gasping and huffing and puffing from respiratory issues. He can't even make it up the steps of Air Force One. They've been going with a 757, and he has been exiting from the belly of the plane on many occasions.

He was put on the meds and some oxygen much earlier than average person which accounts for his recovery. But he absolutely could not have stopped or even tapered off the strong steroids after usual 10 day course when it was imperative that his condition be propped up and symptoms suppressed at least through election day.
