One of the White House aides who works closest to President Donald Trump has tested positive for coronavirus, a White House official confirmed to CNN.
Nicholas Luna, an assistant to the President, acts as one of his "body men," whose job is to accompany the President throughout the day and night, putting him in close proximity to Trump, who announced early Friday morning he and first lady Melania Trump had tested positive.

(7,604 posts)We'll see how a sociopath responds to the real fact that he is responsible for the illnesses of so many people in his charge. We'll watch him deny any responsibility. He'll blame others. He'll victimize himself. We'll watch it all. We'll nod our heads and say, "Yeah, that's him."
And then we vote him out of office.

(7,947 posts)I am hoping young Hope Hicks gets so upset about being implicated as the "spreader," her family says-- he gave it to her.
I get colds a lot, and I've determined not to try to figure out "who gave it to me", because really, I probably also passed it on... it's not like this is deliberate.
HOWEVER... Trump (with Hannity) was obviously trying to pin this on Hope Hicks-- she was the one who brought the dread disease to him, probably getting it from kissing and hugging service members and law enforcement (you know, "she's such a slut, she kisses anyone even during a pandemic"
.
And now it seems entirely possible that TRUMP gave it to her.
Trump fans are all so subservient, and she's one of the worst... but ... well. It was leaked (by whom?) that Hope Hicks was sick. Otherwise, Trump would have tried to pretend he wasn't positive. Who leaked it? Maybe she did, or someone who cared about her.
This is the worst president ever.

(44,024 posts)the timing was off, that he likely exposed her, but she was being blamed for it.
It included her twitter remarks, a day or so ago, the post is here in GD but would be difficult to find now.
Anyway, I'm not surprised that he was the initiator but the fall has largely been on Hicks so far.
