Pick a different republican. Harding for example.

(56,198 posts)You're right, though. Some in his cabinet were corrupt but there was nothing on grant himself.
Regardless, Donnie outdoes all administrations combined in terms of corruption.
Now he can add a surrenderer to his credentials.

(31,261 posts)far the best Union Generals and two of the top three in the civil war (Stonewall Jackson was the third), Grant was not as bad a President as some make him out to be. He was not part of the corruption that took place under him.
