House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) told Fox News that video games are to blame, following the mass shootings in El Paso and Dayton this weekend.

Said McCarthy: “To have a game of shooting individuals and others, I’ve always felt that is a problem for future generations and others.”

11. I've slaughtered millions of computer-controlled characters in the 40+ years I've been gaming ...

Gotta admit, I'm not much for the sort of games where the other characters both look like humans, and are actually controlled by them ... so I don't play much online Multi-Player Call of Duty or Battlefield-type games ... but I'm pretty confident that even if I did, it wouldn't make me want to shoot people IRL.

People who may already be sick shooter types probably ARE attracted to such games, but I don't buy that the games are 'the cause'.
