The plane Rmoney flies around in is owned by gambling interests

Some of you may remember my other thread regarding my up close and personal with Rmoney's plane at the airport in Little Rock. I started doing a bit of research on the plane.

On the side it say's "Xtra Airways". Xtra Airways charters planes, and particularly 737s.

Here's what wiki has to say about Xtra Airways:

Established in 1987 as Casino Express Airlines; started operations in 1989 using Boeing 737-200 aircraft flying exclusively for the Red Lion Hotel and Casino.
Quickly expanded its customer base to include sports teams, government agencies, foreign dignitaries, press corps, other gaming properties, and other types of public and private charters.
Changed its name to Xtra Airways on December 8, 2005, to better reflect its broader focus.
Moved its headquarters in June, 2010, to Boise, Idaho, to better position itself for sustained growth.

As many of you know, the Mormons frown on gambling of any type. Rmoney's other ties to gambling have recently been revealed.

You can also track Rmoney's plane on flightaware, which is surprising because often political flights are blocked from tracking.

I thought candidates flew around in bigger airplanes, like 757s, with their names painted on the fuselage. And flags. Maybe they don't do that until after the convention and are officially nominated, but I did think it odd that Mittens had chartered a plane from Xtra Airways.

2. Mormons only frown on Mormons gambling. They are happy to profit from it.

Just as the early Mormons in Salt Lake City happily provided the immigrant trains with whiskey.

If I understand correctly, Red Lion is a public company and McClaskey has been dead for many years.

13. Ah, so the plane isn't owned by "gambling interests",

the company that owns the plane was started years ago as a private company that leased planes to the casino the founder also owned. Now, the founder has been dead for many years and the company leases planes to all sorts of clients...

It's like saying Obama's 2008 plane was owned by Kimberly-Clark because they founded the company he leased the plane from for his 2008 campaign (Midwest Airlines).

14. So because the company uses the planes for purposes other than getting people to casinos...

and it's now a corporation instead of a private company...it's no longer owned by gambling interests?

The 3 corporate officers listed all reside in Elko, NV which is the home of the Red Lion Casino.
http://www.corporationwiki.com/District-of-Columbia/Washington/xtra-airways-inc-4281395.aspx

The CEO, Lisa Dunn, has worked for the gambling industry since 1992 and has worked for Xtra/Casino Express both before and after it became a corporation. She is also one of 3 partners who own a majority stake in the corporation. The 2 other partners are also from Elko and also undoubtedly have their roots in the gambling industry seeing as how there's not much else in Elko, but I'll leave that research to you, but while you're doing that research you might want to try to figure out how a flight dispatcher comes to own an airline in 13 years without cash from the gambling industry.

So feel free to throw out all the other red herrings you want, but I'm done here.

Cheers!

but speaking of red herrings, Romney leased a plan from a company that leases plans to all sorts of people for all sorts of reasons. Lets say Sheldon Adelson owned the company, if Romney isn't getting any special deal, what would that matter? Not really at all, IMHO, except we'd have another chance to mention Romney and Adelson in the same statement.
