Stop Calling Barr's Letter a "summary" of Mueller's Principal Conclusions

You cannot legitimately call Barr's 4 page letter a summary of Mueller's conclusions.

Mueller MADE NO CONCLUSION on the score of obstruction. The "conclusion" that there was no obstruction is Barr's not Mueller's. Hence the letter DOES NOT summarize Mueller. It PREEMPTS Mueller.

Ask yourself WHY Barr chose to do so?

The answer is screaming at us. Mueller intended to throw the ball onto Congress's court, with a roadmap of the "difficult issue of fact and law" laid out in full, gory detail for CONGRESS, which according to the DOJ Guidelines, is the only body empowered to sit in judgment of a sitting president.

Barr KNOWS what will happen if the decision is left to Congress, especially if Congress were to get a hold of Mueller's un-spun report. He also knows what the Media would MAKE of the report without Barr's spin to control the narrative.

This is not a summary. It is a cover up in the form of a cover letter.

NEVER LOSE SIGHT OF THAT FACT.

Too many progressives are turning into whimpering wimps right before our eyes, rolling over and playing dead, and conceding the narrative to Trump, Barr, and the Republicans.

No one but White House lawyers and Barr have actually seen the Mueller report.

Barr did insinuate in his confirmation hearings that a sitting president cannot be convicted of obstruction of justice so I am not surprised at Barr's report, his mind was already made up before he even read the Mueller report.

9. The Barr "Report" ("Op-Ed Piece" according to Nicole Wallace) is exactly why Trump hired Barr.

Barr made it very clear he was going to issue this precise whitewash, when he was angling for the AG job. Why would anybody expect anything honest from the Iran-Contra whitewash guy?

used to wrestle. It wasn't unusual for us to break or damage something when we did it, which is why we waited until our parents were gone before we got started. Every time we broke something, we would be standing at the door to tell our parents about it before they walked in and found it, so we could sugar-coat what had taken place and temper their anger. That's what this summary is. The report is either going to be released or get leaked, I'm sure, and we'll get a chance to see for ourselves what the kids were up to while no one else was around.

nothing is stopping the House from fact finding and actual impeachment if warranted. They will do as much as is legally possible, and there's quite a bit so I'm willing to give it some more time. There are indictments from other jurisdictions coming, and I think, soon.

I'm in the "it aint over yet" camp.

No, Barr IMPLIES that Mueller made no conclusion. I think Barr ignored or overruled Mueller's opinion. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that Barr probably threatened Mueller's pension, McCabe-style, to shut him up.
