He said terrorists may not care about dying but they care about their wives and children so we should be sure to kill the wives, who often had no choice in their husband, and the innocent children. That is terrorism. Trump proposed cold blooded murder of innocents as an act of terror. How can any alleged Christian support him?

Fill their "big tent". Show that they are "ecunemical" (can't spell, don't care.)

I've been involved peripherally (ex-so of a crazy) in various evangelical cults and know that their desired leadership/controllers is much smaller than their desired community.

Again, liberalism/openness != dogmatic/formalized/monetized religion.

They're much more comfortable with their fellow White heterosexual (or closeted) members. Or as Anne Lamott so eloquently stated:
"You may safely assume you've created God in your own image when it turns out that God hates all the same people that you do."

A 16 year old that had no known ties to terrorism other than being the son of Anwar Al-Awlaki.

He was a private citizen then anyway. He wasn't elected to Congress until 2014.
