Kevin McCarthy: "There's Two People Putin Pays: Rohrabacher and Trump." Thanks Captain Obvious.

Kevin McCarthy is about as smart as a bucket of latex paint. Meaning he's often dumb enough to simply blurt out the truth, before most of the GOP has to scramble to 'clarify' what he meant.

Two Examples:

1. McCarthy admitted on the Hannity show that the only purpose behind the Benghazi select committee was to drive Hillary Clinton's poll numbers down before the 2016 election. TRUTH.

2. McCarthy said he's sure there are two people who are on Putin's payroll: Rohrabacher and Trump. Mueller just proved the first half of THAT one. It's only a matter of time before the other shoe drops.

On May 17, 2017, the Washington Post reported that a month before Donald Trump clinched the Republican nomination, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy stated "There's two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump. Swear to God." -Kevin McCarthy

3. Physical proof of what everybody already knows? That Trump is ALSO on Putin's payroll/Kompromat list? It's only a matter of time.

So far Kevin 'Nostrodamus' McCarthy is batting 1000.

House majority leader to colleagues in 2016: ‘I think Putin pays’ Trump
By Adam Entous May 17, 2017

KIEV, Ukraine — A month before Donald Trump clinched the Republican nomination, one of his closest allies in Congress — House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy — made a politically explosive assertion in a private conversation on Capitol Hill with his fellow GOP leaders: that Trump could be the beneficiary of payments from Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“There’s two people I think Putin pays: Rohrabacher and Trump,” McCarthy (R-Calif.) said, according to a recording of the June 15, 2016, exchange, which was listened to and verified by The Washington Post. Rep. Dana Rohrabacher is a Californian Republican known in Congress as a fervent defender of Putin and Russia.

House Speaker Paul D. Ryan (R-Wis.) immediately interjected, stopping the conversation from further exploring McCarthy’s assertion, and swore the Republicans present to secrecy.

Before the conversation, McCarthy and Ryan had emerged from separate talks at the Capitol with Ukrainian Prime Minister Vladimir Groysman, who had described a Kremlin tactic of financing populist politicians to undercut Eastern European democratic institutions.

Why WOULDN'T Russia try that over here? If their goal is to kneecap America and reduce its influence around the globe, so that Russia can fill the power vacuum, and with a bonus of fostering policies that actually HELP Russia, that's a win-win -- with BOTH wins being Russia's.
